Coman hints at PSG return in the future

Star Bayern winger Kingsley Coman has hinted that he might return to PSG in the future. The 21 year old, a product of the Parisians’ academy has said that he will definitely stay at Bayern for the next “five-six years” and would only leave the Bavarian giants for a “bigger club” that “did not exist” currently, but also added that he loved PSG. PSG’s unbeaten run in Europe broken by Bayern as Tolisso stars

French youngster Corentin Tolisso scored twice as Bayern Munich handed Paris Saint-Germain their first defeat in the Champions League this year with a 3-1 triumph at the Allianz Arena.

PSG had won all five of their CL group fixtures and had conceded only once going into this fixture, but went down 3-1 to suffer their second straight loss in all competitions, having been upset by Strasbourg over the weekend.

PSG had beaten Bayern 3-0 earlier in this competition, a result that saw the Bavarians sack Carlo Ancelotti. His replacement Jupp Heynckes has masterminded a revival of sorts in recent weeks, with Bayern re-establishing their Bundesliga dominance.

PSG 3-0 Bayern Munich | Paris send Bavarians packing

Prior to this game Arjen Robben had taunted PSG saying that “Money doesn’t buy goals”. Unfortunately for the Dutch winger, it did, and with Bayern suffering a chastening defeat at Parc des Princes, Robben offered no comment when asked by a reporter post-match whether the side was fully behind coach Carlo Ancelotti, indicating that there may be divisions at the Allianz Arena.

Two Brazilians were on target for Paris Saint-Germain in the form of Dani Alves and Neymar, with Edinson Cavani’s goal sandwiched between the two.

The result indicates that PSG are favourites to top this group, with a second place finish for Bayern meaning tougher opponents for the Bavarians in the round of 16.

PSG are now only one of three teams not to concede a goal in the group stages (Barca and Man City are the other two), and also look to be France’s only major contenders in the Champions League, with Monaco struggling badly in their group. Continue reading
