Europa League Round Up- Lille and St.Etienne both draw

Both Lille and Saint-Etienne drew the first legs of their Europa League ties last night. LOSC, who were up against Qabala, went behind in the 13th minute when Vernydub scored for the visitors, but levelled shortly after the interval through Ryan Mendes.

St.Etienne drew 0-0 against Greek side AEK Athens.

Both Lille and St.Etienne were hosts in the first leg, and will have to travel to Azerbaijan and Greece respectively for the return legs next week.

AS Saint-Etienne will not be playing Europa League football next season after they suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Lille OSC on the final day of the season. Going into the game, ASSE were a point ahead of Lille and only needed to avoid defeat to stay ahead of Les Dogues.
