PSG’s 1-0 win over Auxerre in the French Cup last night (Coupe de France) means that Bordeaux have qualified for the Europa League in 2015/16. Marseille will go directly into the group stages of the Europa League, while Bordeaux will enter the tournament in the third qualifying round.

PSG’s win also mean that their Trophee des Champions fixture in Montreal (League winners vs Cup winners) will be played against Lyon.

Divock Origi has been named by L’Equipe in their “worst Ligue 1 team” of the season for 2014/15. Origi has an average rating of 4.46 for the season, and the Belgian forward, along with Marseille’s Florian Thauvin, was also named in the list of most overrated players this season in Ligue 1.
