French clubs in Europa League Group Stage 2016/17- Nice and St.Etienne
In the draw for the group stages of the 16/17 Europa League conducted today, Ligue 1 had two representatives in AS Saint-Etienne and OGC Nice.
Saint-Etienne will be in Group C along with Anderlecht, Mainz and Qabala.
Nice have drawn Schalke, Salzburg and Krasnodar in Group I
Group E Champions League 2016/2017- ASM with Spurs & Leverkusen
AS Monaco have been handed a tough looking Champions League group that also contains CSKA Moscow, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayer Leverkusen. All four sides will feel that they’re in with a chance to win the group and we should see some very keenly contested games.

Group H Champions League 16/17- OL with Juve & Sevilla
Olympique Lyonnais have been handed a tricky draw in the Champions League, with the Rhone Valley outfit grouped along with Juventus, Sevilla and Dinamo Zagreb. Juve will be the favs to take this group, but Europa League champions Sevilla also have the potential to do so- although they’ve under performed in the Champions League in recent years.

Champions League Group A 2016/17- PSG with Arsenal and Basel
French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been drawn alongside Arsenal, Basel and Ludogorets in their Champions League group. It appears to be pretty straight forward for Paris, who should be expected to top the group.
