OM ended a run of three games without a win as they beat Toulouse 5-2 away from home in the penultimate round of Ligue 1 fixtures.
Marseille, who had lost 3-0 to Olympique Lyonnais in Round 36, scored four second half goals to run out 5-2 winners. The fixture, held in front of 24,293 supporters, was the highest scoring Ligue 1 game for the round.
Despite the scoreline suggesting a comfortable win for Marseille, it wasn’t so- two of their five came in second half extra time. The player ratings indicate this- Toulouse with an average team rating of 4.5, and Marseille with 5.4. There wasn’t too much to choose between the two teams.
