Here are the ratings from the French press for PSG’s surprise French Cup final loss to Stade Rennais. The Parisians were leading 2-0, but SRFC fought back to level it at 2-2, and then went on to win on penalties. It was the first time in six years that PSG had to be content with a single title on the domestic front (league only).

The worst rated PSG player was Kylian Mbappe, who received a scathing 2/10 from L’Equipe. Mbappe’s extra time red card v Rennes reduced the Parisians to ten men, and also robbed them of a crucial penalty taker in the shootout. Kimpembe, who scored an own goal that kickstarted Rennes’ revival, was the next worst player with a 3/10.
