Olympique Lyonnais sprang a bit of a surprise as they held La Liga leaders Barcelona to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their Champions League tie. There were 57,889 spectators at the Groupama Stadium for this fixture, five thousand more than the number of fans who attended Liverpool’s clash against Bayern Munich, which also produced the same result as this OL-FCB one.
The two best Lyon players on show, according to French media, were goalkeeper Anthony Lopes and defender Jason Denayer. Memphis Depay was perhaps the biggest disappointment on the evening, coming up with a 3 for his performance.
Barca’s best rated player was also their goalkeeper- German international Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, with their poorest ones being forward Luis Suarez.
