Marseille’s French centre half Rolando scored a crucial extra time goal to stave off a brave comeback from Austrian side FC Salzburg and send L’OM into a final meeting against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

The goal was perhaps a tad controversial, with Salzburg claiming that referee Karasev had failed to notice the ball taking a deflection off Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos. Some merit in that, but Marseille supporters could care less, they’re in their first major European final in quite a while!
