France U20 to face Zambia in last eight of World Cup if they beat Italy

France U20 will face African champions Zambia in the last eight of the World Cup if they beat continental rivals Italy in the Round of 16. The Zambians came from behind to oust Germany 4:3 in extra time.

France won all three of their group stage games while the Italians’ solitary victory was against South Africa, with a draw against Italy and a loss to Uruguay seeing them finish with a total of 4 minutes.

France’s game against Italy U20 will be at the Cheonan Stadium and will have Polish referee Szymon Marciniak as the man in the middle.
